Hey hunnies! Welcome to yet another products of the week!
I am back from New York and had the best time at Indie Beauty Expo! Y'all know how much I love meeting and sniffing out new indie brands to tell y'all about. This IBE was no exception. In fact, it was so dang big, I barely scratched the surface!
Here are 4 of the new items I picked up and have been loving. There are tons more (tune into this week's Natch to hear about a few more!) and I'll be rolling new things out as I slowly sample everything.
1. Ikoo hairbrush
I had been eyeing these before IBE even happened through their instagram, and I am SO glad I got one of these. Holy moly does this brush massage your head nicely! The design is sleek, smooth, and cute. Also, getting my hair in a sleek top bun is always hard for me, cause there are always lumps and bumps ruining my sleekness. This brush smoothes out your hair perfectly! My bangs in the product photo look snatched because of this brush, also. The bristles were designed by Chinese Doctors to make detangling pain-free, and rubbing this brush across your scalp is just what the Doctor ordered, honey!
It's also vegan! I am in love! Link for the UK hunnies https://ikoo-brush.co.uk/shop/ikoo.html American hunnies can purchase through skinstore
2. Frownies Wrinkle Smoothing Neck Mask - REUSABLE!
MASK YOUR NECK! I am so in love with Frownies and their facial smoothing patches, but now I am finally trying their famous neck mask. It makes perfect sense to mask your neck and give it some love, as I am always preaching. This mask is ultra hydrating, vegan, and REUSABLE, HO-NEY!
And, Kat, the HBIC at Frownies, made a code for the hunnies. Code NATCHBEAUT will save you 15% website-wide on their wide variety of goodies!
I have been a proud menstrual cup user for 7 years! My old cup was starting to finally wear out on me. So it was perfect timing to meet the beautiful ladies behind OrganiCup.
They are from Copenhagen! Menstrual cups are good for you and good for the environment and once you get the hang of it (I instantly figured it out and had zero issues, but some of my friends took a few tries- they have a very helpful instructional vid on the website you can watch!) you will honestly never go back to using tamps or pads. OrganiCup is certified hypoallergenic, certified vegan, and offers a 60-day risk-free guarantee.
So if you've been thinking of making the switch to a cup, OrganiCup is perf for you. Mine is in right now and I'm loving the fit and comfort- I'll give it a spin for the next 7 years for sure!
4. Shea Brand Cucumber Hydrosol
This is one of my favorite new brands I met at IBE. First off, they are a trio of millennial entrepreneurs based out of Brooklyn making shea butter-based products, like lip balm and a CBD natural pain reliever.
But they also have a line of hydrosols and toners, and you KNOW how I love a good hydrosol (a water created by distilling fresh leaves, fruits, and flowers that you can spray on your face and bod, or mix with your oils and use in your skincare routine. Get on my level!) Everything smells incredible and the packaging is eco-friendly and CUTE. The 3 owners also happen to be hot if I'm being honest- I encourage y'all to look at them on the website- tell me I'm wrong!
The website rules and has a full list of ingredients, their origins, and why they use it. They're smart, cute, and have great stuff- check this brand out!
This cucumber hydrosol instantly shot up to the top of my fave mist list.
I love indie entrepreneurs and finding new brands. Thank you to IBE as always for having me and helping me mask my neck, mist my face, cup my flow, and keep my fringe fresh!
